The High School Ministry exists primarily to:
Elevate the Living Word of God – Jesus Christ.
Only in Jesus will our lives find real meaning, purpose, and joy. (John 1:1-5, John 3:14-16, John 14:6, Romans 10:9-10, Colossians 1:15-17, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:16-21, Psalm 33:7-9, Psalm 115:1)
Equip students to live a life that pleases God.
Teach (and show) students how to live a passionate life that is completely and unashamedly surrendered to Jesus Christ. (Matthew 5:1-12, Mark 12:30-31, Luke 9:23, John 15:5-8, Galatians 5:22-23, Ephesians 4:12-16, Ephesians 6:10-18, Colossians 1:10, Colossians 1:28, 2 Timothy 3:16-27, James 1:4, 1 Peter 2:2, 2 Peter 1:3-9, 2 Peter 3:18)
Engage the culture.
Teach (and show) students how to live as salt and light in their homes, schools, and communities. Anytime Christians gather together the world that surrounds us should be better because of our presence. Our faith should make a noticeable difference in the lives of others. (Matthew 5:13-16, Matthew 28:18-20, John 13:35, John 14:12, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 9:19-23, Ephesians 3:30, Ephesians 6:19-20, Philippians 4:13)
Encourage students to run after God,
and to keep believing through the tough times, and live a life of reckless abandon to their Creator. (Galatians 6:9, Colossians 2:2, Philippians 3:13, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Hebrews 3:13, Hebrews 10:24-25, Hebrews 12:1-3, James 1:2-8)
