How to join FBC

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

We believe church membership to be a vital step in the maturing process of a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. In order to be a member of FBC, there are a couple of steps that are essential to the process.

1. In order to be a member of FBC, you must first be a follower of Jesus Christ. If you are unclear as to exactly what this means, learn how to join the Greatest Revolution.

2. Once a person has become a follower of Jesus Christ, the first act of obediance is to follow Jesus' command to be baptized. Baptism comes after a person has asked for forgiveness of sin and begun a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

3. The last aspect of church mebership is to identify a place of service within the church to use the spiritual gifts and talents God has given to each believer in order that they will honor Him and encourage others to do the same. To find out about oportunities and places to serve in the ministries of FBC, plan to attend the next session of MERGE, a class for new members and guests of FBC.
