Hi. I’m Byron McWilliams, pastor of First Baptist Church, Odessa, Texas and I want to welcome you to our website. If you are new to First Odessa, we’re honored you have taken the time to check us out. You’ll find that First Odessa is a family of faith created to glorify God and committed to sharing the love, hope and abundant life of Jesus Christ with our community and the world. We believe in the Bible as God’s divine guide to knowing Him and the plans He has for our lives. We also believe that worship is essential to honoring God and invite you to come and enjoy the worship experience at First Odessa. Our Sunday morning worship services begin at 9:00 and 10:30 with corresponding Bible studies going on as well. So, if you are looking for a place where God is exalted, the Bible is taught in a practical and relevant manner, and Christian fellowship abounds, you’ll love First Odessa.
